macromedia flash sitedesign : Compress Movie

When publishing with MX Prof 2004 7.0.1, Win98, compress movie is
automatically checked. When I publish the movie with the compress movie
checked, my .swf file is much larger than Flash MX publishing. So I tried
to uncheck the compress movie under the Flash tab when publishing, and I
receive this error message:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Program C:\Program Files\ Macromedia\ FlashMX2004\Flash.EXE
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

I'm wondering why unchecking the compress movie under the Flash tab when
publishing will not only give the above error message, but I'm also
wondering if the compress movie should be unchecked (or if it is possible to
uncheck it). Thanks in advance for your help.

Beally, I enjoy your humor. I remain interested if anyone has experience
and comments with Compress publishing. Patty

Sorry - that wasn't very nice. :/

I've never owned MX 2004, only tested and hear-say. I would e-mail support about it.
