macromedia flash sitedesign: i have two things i want to ask

first
when designing your interface, do you brainstorm by sketching out ideas with pencil and paper, or do you brainstorm directly on the computer?

second
if you sketch on paper, i would love to see your sketch ideas (more inspired by pencil sketches than digital).

third
i know that when your movie is 800x600 and you have the fullscreen action, the movie will stretch to fit the viewers resolution; however, i do not know if your movie is 800x600 will your movie downsize lower than 800x600 or is that the minimum resolution (the size of the movie was made at)?

thanx everyone, http://home.fuse.net/jmdesign

first) I almost always make a design freestyle before I turn it into a website or otherwise. Usually, the first step is indeed a layout pencil sketching.

second) I never scan them in, or takle digi photos or anything, I just use them as reference. That said i don't have any handy, but I can tell you there's not much for you to see; they are nothing fancy. Just basic proportional sketches, with rough concepts.

third) I think if the movie is set to scale, it will change to fit any screen. Of course, keep in mind if it's designed at 800x600 and you scale it down significantly, everything will appear smaller(thus text will be harder to read, ect.) but you could always try it out. Scale your browser to similuate a smaller screen.

cheers
