macromedia flash sitedesign: Would appreciate feedback, especially from dial-up users

Hi,

I like it. Its nicely put together with nothing annoying. The graphic in the computer monitor is a nice subtle effect, i like that.

Music doesnt really go with the site, just my personal opinion tho.

What was used to make the graphic banner on the top, and the '@' sign at the bottom?

Overall its pretty good. Didnt fing any spelling mistakes or grammatical errors either :).

I'd say you got a pretty cool looking site, pretty flashy. Only thing is that the only content area is TINY, which will drive some people bonkers. You might want to consider opening it up a little, maybe only putting the computer(which is a cool effect, BTW) only on the home page, then making room for more content on other pages. Of course, put something interesting besides text on each page, just I really feel it needs more content area.

I like the header very much! looks professional.

The image editor is of course photoshop 7, the best image editor on PC

I agree with most of the earlier comments, but also you need something better than outlook express for contact issues. A nice flash work would suit your site. Visit egomedia.com for examples.

The music is hmm... doesn't quite suit it, something with drum and bass -light would definitely.

But I must say I do like the Sound Option @ the bottom left of the screen, done very nice.

I do really like the sky in the screen and the globe animation.

I did notice something not quite right with the button rollover effect?

When I move my mouse pointer over any of the buttons it flickers, black/white
- It does look like it is struggling slightly?

I suggest you change the rollover to a neutral colour - (a light red), that way it will still be obvious to the user which button they have navigated over.

I mean don't know if you meant for the buttons to have that black/white look/ Personally I don't like it.

I liked the music BUT one should always allow the user to have the controls.

The one thing I was slightly annoyed by was the clicking to scroll. After the 12th click it was getting old. Perhaps some kind of a scrollbar arrangement dressed up to match the look you already have going?

All in all, very nice.

Very nice.... i really do have to agree with Abeall tho... that is one of the first things i thought when i saw the site!! Just so everyone knows.... my site is on the way..... By the way geezer.... your site is nice.... so dont change any colour schemes or anything.... if you do need to change the site then make the top bar smaller and then make the bottom bar bigger!!
