Dave,
We're currently developing this e-commerce site with ASP
www.backwoodsmetalart.com

We've worked with Access, but find it is severly limited for online use
(limited number of users, processor overhead, bandwidth requirements, etc).
A much better choice is SQL or even MYSQL is pretty powerful and secure.

As far as SSL, just do a quick Google search and there are lots of great
tutorials out there. Forget CGI and use ASP if you can.

I am making an online store for a client with credit card facility, however,
I am wondering if there are any security precautions to using ASP and
Microsoft Access databases as opposed to CGI and MySQL databases. I do not
know CGI, however I am willing to learn it if it means the security of the
site will not be compromised. Also if anyone has any good links for
information on SSL please could you tell me.
Thanks heaps.
