I'm trying to do something similar to the animation here:

http://www.apono.com/

When you click on different sections, the background animates into a new position with decceleration.
How do I do this? anyone know of a tutorial? Is this difficult for a intermediate actionscripter?

Thanks in advance,

Hey,

This is relatively simple. Check out this tutorial: http://www.actionscript.org/tutorials/intermediate/relative_scrolling/rel_scrol_1.shtml

The only real significant difference is that the landscape is shown on different layers, the stuff in the foreground (trees etc) is on a different layer to the sky for example. This enables the speed of the tween to be varied. i.e. the speed of something in the foreground moving will be quicker than something farther away.

Hope that helps,

Viru.
