macromedia flash sitedesign:
How do you create flash like in those websites where they have a lot of
graphics and what software is required
I have basically no experience with web I can only use pre-made stuff and I
would like to make my own, how long would it take me to learn and what
books/learning materials would you recommend

I recommend getting a copy of Flash, and doing all the tutorials that come with it. They're a good introduction to the software. When you're comfortable with it, i'd suggest picking a project, and finding tutorials on how to do what's required, like, say, making a mouse trail. I think it's easier to learn and it sticks more when you're doing something specific, as opposed to just playing around.

When you've done all that, i'd say the next step is to download OS movies, and see how other people code.

You don't -really- need to read books to learn how to use Flash.

Good luck

The technology is called Flash... (www.macromedia.com) And I would recommend
the Flash MX Bible to begin learning. It's the best book for learning and
reference out there.
