How can I add a mirror-like effect on my buttons when they are rolled over? Like in this site http://2advanced.com/flashindex.htm http://2advanced.com/flashindex.htm clcik on services, and try rolling on the buttons. Lovcely effects, right?

I see, a "shimmer" effect. I wish i knew the official name for such an effect(if there is one) then you could look it up easily. Anyway, I'm no 2A designer, but i did a similar effect at a site I'm making for fun:

If you like that effect, heres how I made it:
1)create a rectangl, or whatever the shape is that is going to havbe that reflection effect(in 2A's site, its a rectangle with pointed ends) - with no line strokes
2)set the fill color to a gradient. make the gradient all white, with the edges transparent(alpha=0) and s sliver in the center completely opaque(alpha=100)
3)animate the position of the sliver via a shape tween.

thats one way of doing. perhaps the simplest. you could also use masking and a motion tween of a light sliver.
