macromedia flash sitedesign: I know it can be done with either. I've spent a lot of time getting the basics
of Flash down. Before I go design a website, is it better to do it in
Dreamweaver (which I have yet to learn)? What are the advantages/disadvantages
of each? Thoughts?

Depends on what you are doing, if you need to pump out the text to the general
public use HTML, if the visual / animation / interactive side is your need then
look at Flash. As well said by the previous poster a combination of both is
common.
