I am trying to figure out if it is possible to add pictures in a dynamic text
box. The text I have is scrolling with the tracklisting for an album, I want to
place a picture of the album cover next to the text, but also want it to move
with the text when it is scrolled. is this possible? if so, how?
thanks.

Put the text & image together in a movieclip. Then scroll the movieclip

No, you can't put images in text boxes. But if you do as I said, the images
& text will all scroll together as you wish them to.

Check out some of the .fla files on http://www.ultrashock.com I'm sure
you'll find some examples of what I mean there.

album covers and 3 set's of tracklistings to put on this page, and I wanted
them all to scroll at once in one area.

It IS posiible using FMX2004 and publishing for Flash Player 7. The IMG-tag is nou supported HTML and works for non-progressive
jpg-files, swf files and linked movieclips. Check the manual for more. Be warned however that there's quite some discussion in this
feature at Flash Coders currently as it might be buggy using embedded fonts. But basically; it is possible under the before
mentioned conditions.

A working example can be seen here:
http://www.stupidpolitics.com/news.php Click on Psych View or Parodies for
image examples.

I have done this with no problems using Flash 2004 and the text field set to
support HTML. I also have a CSS file loaded into the Flash CSS class to
support the text formatting of the text field. Links are supported as well,
but you need to describe them in the CSS file to achieve the normal Browser
"feel" on how links should appear (on the home page you can see links in
Capt. Net's dynamic text field).
