macromedia flash sitedesign: Is this posssible with MX 2004? I would like to be able to distort and skew
movie clips the way i can regular graphics. If not, Can anybody tell me why
not and if theres a possible workaround around this big problem?

You can use the Free Transform Tool to skew MCs just like any other graphic.

Was there something in particular that you were trying to do?

'i have no clue about the icon.....looks like macromedia did it 4 me

I'll have to take a look at the user CP, MM keeps changing the forums interface
everyday now, features come and go constantly. :-) For what purpose do you
need to distort/envelop an MC? You know you can open the MC(double click) and
distort its contents.

ah I see, the frame by frame is within the MC already? I suppose the frame by
frame is vector based? Well this is the very reason I asked, there happens to
be a work around: Onion Skin. You can select all frames at once, by using the
Onion Skin 'edit multiple frames' button, found on the timeline. Just use the
skin selection range to envelop the MCs entire timeline, and then Ctrl+A to
select all contents on all frames, and distort. You could be done by now ;-)
cheers
