Hello,
I had on my site an form that was using php to send to my E-mail all the
variables from the form. so I can send you the source of that.
It's not what I was using , but it's just an exemple to demonstrate how it
works.
in the fla file you will see a text input field, and a button. when you
release the button(onRelease) the text is sent to a php file("mail.php") ,and
the php file E-mails the text to the E-mail address specified there.. you will
se what I'm talking about.
Anyway edit the php file so it that it will not send the variable to my
Address, as it's now set to :) .
For the php to work you should have a server that supports php, and also to
have a mail server.. otherwise the E-mail won't be sent.. so if you have a
domain ask you web host provider if you can use php, and if the mail() function
is suported by the server.. (in case you don't know already this)
I hope you will understand how it works..

I also have a hosting problem.

I downloaded the excellent looking contact form from http://www.ripway.com) but I need a PHP server to host the script on.

aa.. a php server?.. there is no such thing.. maybe a E-mail server.. the php
is like a "plugin" of a http server, like Apache, or IIS(Internet Information
Security).. and others..
I recomend to try to find out which web host providers have a UNIX system,
because they probably have a mail server, that works with the php..
I'm sorry I dont know any web host providers, .. I didn't need something like
this...so far :)

supports PHP mailing. I already have a host for my main website, which
unfortunately doesn't support PHP mailing, so I am looking for a free host.
However, you generally pay for what you get, so free PHP script hosts like
Ripway are useless unless you start paying them. Which is why I am asking if
anyone can help me host my PHP Mailing script, or if they know any free hosting
sites which support PHP Mailing.
