macromedia flash sitedesign:
I have built a photography site using flash and dynamic jpgs that pull from a text file. These images display in a fading slide show. The images are all different sizes with a max height and max width. I have the images displaying centered in a movie clip.

My client has a MAC and has been telling me that sometimes on his machine, and on his friends (that also have MAC) some of the images are not centering in the slide show. Apparently they are dropping to the bottom right.

Can MAC users please view this site and some of the slideshows in the portfolio section and let me know how the images display? Also if possible let me know what OS and browser you are using.

Thanks in advance!

Worked fine for me. I looked thru parts of all the portfolios and all the images were centered.

I used Safari and Netscape 7 on a Mac running OSX 10.2.

I did wonder why the preload was so slow(on a cable modem) if the photos are loading dynamically later on...but otherwise it looked fine.

Hope this helps.

I have set up in the preloader to load all the images (dynamically) at this time. They load in a separate movie clip. Before I did this, every picture was off center on MAC OS 9 IE. I added the preloader to try to prevent it. I thought it did and now I am being told that sometimes, OS 9 and X, the images are still off center.

I just dont get it. It has never happened on a PC.

everything centered for me.
Mac OS 9.2.2 Netscape 7.02

i love the pictures. i work with photodisc images all the time and those look better than most if not all what they have.

the site is classy and simple to navigate.

the only peeve is how long the animation was in the beginning (preloader). i like preloaders that at least tell me how long i have to wait (percentage 0-100)

other than that, maybe include more transitional stuff throught the slideshow (fading pics in and out or rollover stuff)

great job.
