macromedia flash sitedesign: what are the pros and cons of using MC's to load .swf files or levels? I have done a site which in some instances uses MC's to load external .swf and others I used levels. For some reason some people could view the site that used the MC to loas a .swf file and some cant... any ideas?

I would be interested to know the answer to this too ! I am using levels for my design (loading in external swfs) - but have not had problems yet. Is it a MAC thing AGAIN ??

sorry this doesn't totally help you, but i can tell you that I've seen this too: loadMovieNum sometimes doesn't work properly in in all browsers(Mozilla/Netscape). This is likely a flash player bug(by Macromedia) and there's nothing you can do but try to work around it.

Yeah,... I just found out that the scrollbar component does not work in Mozilla so that could have been the problem.
