macromedia flash sitedesign:
This is amazing stuff... i really loved to do stuff like that... PPL xeck this site--> http://www.avaris-studio.com/completesite/main/index.html Check out the bubbles that explodes and then rejoin again.... How the hell can i do something like that??? That's amazing stuff... If anyone know how to do stuff like this, please let me know ok??? Best Regards
i found the site too derivative. the bubbles aren't done in flash - they are an imported sequence of bitmaps. looks like they were created in a 3d package that has the ability to do basic blobs. -- --------------------------------------- http://www.phageinteractive.com PhageInteractive Ltd. remove mm_ to mail --------------------------------------- 'I wish we lived in a world where it was possible to be religious and think at the same time.' - Jonh Graves [quoted text, click to view] "dj-pirra" <webforumsuser@macromedia.com> wrote in message news:c1tr26$a6h$1@forums.macromedia.com... > This is amazing stuff... i really loved to do stuff like that... > > PPL xeck this site--> http://www.avaris-studio.com/completesite/main/index.html > > Check out the bubbles that explodes and then rejoin again.... Yep, the button/menu is an imported sequence of bitmap images made in another software utality. In order to get a ground-level understanding of what all of this means you must design graphics and the like before you can do stuff like this.
I have some concepts of graphics but still i am just learn flash mx... By the way what kinda software can do that stuff?? 3D Studio MAX??? Can you guys give some cool references to software for that kinda requirement? Cheers
3ds Max is probably the easiest program, as far as basic creation, goes. There are a TON of 3d-style programs out there, all you've gotta do is search for 'em. As far as the 'Import" factor, you'd end up creating an object (say, Sphere1) and you'd use that as your Button's properties in the "Up" frame. Then, create ANOTHER one (Sphere2 - altered enough for it to be different - and put it in the button's "Over" frame. Summary: Create four DIFFERENT objects (Sphere1, Sphere2, etc... one for each of the Button States,(Up, Over, Down, Hit) import them to your library and click on each of the frames. Drag the object from your library, onto the working area, place it and go to the next one. When you're done, you can use Flash to add the object's shadow (Use the opacity - or Alpha - property to give it it's own faded shdow effect. Ant Red.Ant.Media
yeah my only intention was to know how to make those buttons animation... That morphing from one button to 2 separating like a bubble... DAMN GOOD! Along with 3DS any other good and easy program to do that?? Preferably with export into flash....????
WOOWWWHH you can make that bubble animation in photoshop/fireworks??? You are kidding right??
It would be rather easy to make them in photoshop, the morphing would just be a 45 frame sequence of the same concept, frame-by-frame graphics. But shouldent you be designing something original, by this i mean something that you 100% came up with in your mind? Not something someone else designs.
Is there actually and idea that is 100 original? One that no human has EVER thought of before? If you have some, I would sure like to see them! How about posting a portfolio? -- Regards, --Vern =========================== onClipEvent(doSomethingStupid){ setProperty("Face", color, #FF0000); _root.audio = "uh oh!"; }

That question has been bugging me for the last year - I learn new flash things when following up specific ideas - and, for the most part, every time I want to find out how to do something, someone has not only thought of it already, but done a tutorial. Where do you draw the line between "don't reinvent the wheel" and "your work is derivative"? http://www.cityofsand.com
Sure, by trying to copy some effect you like you can learn more and get your skill up. That's rewarding. But it's even more rewarding inventing a design problem of your own and finding a solution to it. Having said that, bubbles are RAD! (as in cool)
