macromedia flash sitedesign: I have a situation, I developed a flash .swf file in windows 98 SE. The design
is a set of 8 songs and 8 pictures synchronized together. When I downloaded
the html and .swf file, After the file downloads the sound does not seem to
work properly, the pictures and the song titles continue to move forward in the
movie clip without the sound synchronized. Can anyone help? The files were
downloaded to my hosting company that use linux redhat and apache.

Also, How do you create a page that just shows the progress bar of the file
downloading then start playing the movie clip and sound. Maybe that will help?

Sounds like you need a preloader. There are a lot of preloader tutorials out
there, do a google search, or visit the one I like to use at
http://www.actionscripts.org/tutorials/beginner/Smooth_PreLoader/index.shtml.
It is a simple one, there are more complex ones out there, but it works good.
