macromedia flash sitedesign: Is you Document background color red?
On the background image layer do you have the frames extended all the way to
the end of your movie?
in other words a long grey bar extending to the last frame with a single
black dot on frame 1?
Are you loading the image externaly? Do you have it link correctly?

I'm new to flash design and don't know a lot, I would appreciate any advice on
how to fix my current problem.

I have a jpeg image as the background for an imbeded flash movie on my
website. The image is on a seperate layer, under all the other layers, locked,
so it shouldn't be affected by anything else. When I play the animation in
Flash it works fine, but in my browser or Flash Player, the image doesn't show
up, it's replaced by a solid red background. The same problem occurs with an
image I have grouped with text for the title. It's an image I converted from a
transparent .gif because I couldn't upload it into Flash.

Please help! I'm paid up fully for my domain name and webspace but don't have
anything to put there!

The Document background colour is white.
The frames on the background layer extend all the way until the end of the
movie.
The background is an image that I've imported directly into the movie, it's
not a link.
