macromedia flash sitedesign:
HI! New to Flash and have made a basic homepage, is there a way to make it look
more seemless and flowing when it is first opened? By the way, none of the
links work yet. Just want to know how to make it more smooth for now.

Thanx!!

Basic, but not busy/ugly; good. As for seamless, you can do that. :) You can do
anything in Flash. I would suggest start with a totally blank(white) canvas,
then a fade-in of the main frames, then perhaps some mask reveiling of the
content and nav, then finish it off with the logo slide in. Of course it's all
up to you; be creative! One thing I would highly suggest: put your framerate to
24 and use Easing(and don't try to animate too many objects at once), and also
do not let anything take to long to play out. Longer than 1 second is rarely
needed - that logo slide in should be fast and smooth, with some easing(easing
is found in the property panel for tweens, both motion and shape).

My smooth theory:
1) Fade-ins
2) Easing!
3) 24fps
4) animated elements don't linger beyond 1 second.

yeah its not bad if you havent been doing flash long. try having some more things going on tho, which is a classic convention of any flash site.
