Here's my problem..... I am an obvious beginner at flash, and I've tried
experimenting to find a solution to my problem, but have had no sucess so
far..... What I want to do is have a part of a picture fade in and stop, while
the rest of the picture continues to fade in around it.... and then have that
display the content of my site. I have the image separated into the different
parts on different layers already, and the transitions applied. So I guess my
question is, how do I keep the images that are done fading in there for an
extended period of time.... Any help would be greatly appreciated.... ~Claire

Hi claire,

Im assuming your tweening an alpha of an image? Once its fully visible it
should stay that way, as long as the frames extend right to the end of the
movie. or you are going to a new scene:

in which case you copy the image and paste in place in the new scene on a
new layer.
