macromedia flash sitedesign: Q1) How is this flash movie http://www.melaniedunea.com set up to expand to
fill 100% of the screen and remain in the center of the screen no matter how
the window is expanded or contracted?

Q2): If you click on "photographs" on the navigation bar and click through a
few photos, you will notice the interface resizes to fit the width of the
photo. How is this done?

Thank you very much.

The "secret" is in the html code :
The flash movie is included in an array w/ 0% width and 0% hight. This array
is put in another one and centered into it. This last array is set to 100%
hight and 100% width.

Pictures are included in a movie clip and the width of the "column" is a
movie clip that has for width the xwidth parameter of the picture loaded.

Your welcome.

These are ideas that can lead you to the solutions. Try
macromedia.flash.actionscript if you need more help w/ code.

Hi JLazanowski,

It's not really expanding, the flash file is set to be 100% height and 100%
width. So the swf takes up 100% of the window and resizes to the window size.
The flash was created to be in the center. if you right click in the brown
areas on the left and right (they seem to be just a normal html background) and
you will get the flash popup menu. the entire page is flash.
