macromedia flash sitedesign:

Hey, ive recently been given an assignment to make a flash website and only
have 8 weeks to do it! so having never used the program before im still gettin
to grips with it.
I wonder if anyone could help as i want to start off with some text in the
middle of the screen, then make it spin round, but not just the simple rotate.
like a 3d spin, like a cd would spin in your disk drive. then i want the word
spinning to change to another word and stop, the word being enter. then i want
this to be a button which lets u continue to the rest of the flash site.
Any help would be appreciated thanx, i guess im guna use this forum alot more
before my project is done!

F1 key is your friend - search for motion tween animation - it's all there - we would be typing out
what already exists in the help docs. you need to take a day and learn the basics first - like
symbols, timeline, buttons, movie clips, etc...once you get familiar with those things, then you
will understand a lot of the answers here. learn the basics and it will all (or mostly) fall into place.

I am not the best when it comes to Macromedia products, but I can get a project
done.

You may want to consider just doing a flash introduction... this may help with
fancy stuff: http://www.tutorialoutpost.com/

Then you can do your layout in Fireworks and tweak it in Dreamweaver.
Fireworks was my friend for a long time... still is
You can get an idea of the integration here:
