macromedia flash sitedesign : One Module, or Two?

I'm designing a gallery for an artist friend of mine. If you could take a look
at this quick mockup of the proposed design here:

http://berrygooddesign.com/portfolio/images/galmod_scrolling.jpg

(This is for the module that would appear within the master module, that's why
there are no navs or anything.)

The concept is that the images along the bottom would scroll, and upon
clicking one, the big full color image would appear above along with associated
text.

My question is, would I do this as all one self-contained module (with the
scrollbar being a movie clip, the thumbnail images another movie clip, and the
big image and text another movie clip), or would I break it into two separate
modules, one for the main image and text and one for the scrolling section?

Anyone see any major hindrances to doing it this way? This isn't the final
option, just a thought. Thanks!

hi,

i recomend to create a MC for your thumbnails a scroll to control the thumbs and a MC to hold the big image

Hi there,
There's a good video tutorial for a scrolling thumbnail panel on Lee Brimelows
site http://www.gotoAndLearn.com.
Personally i would use something like this (as 1 mc) and load the large images
dynamically into a blank mc.
Cheers
