kinda like saying - my car doesn't run well - i dont have the car to show you - but can you tell me
what's wrong with it?
:)
in other words, you need help troubleshooting actionscript - it is recommended to copy the AS from
your actions panel into your message so we can troubleshoot it - also - you will have much more
response if posted in the actionscript forum - that is the appropriate place to post AS issues.

I've created a rather large site.
I added a preloader to the first frame.
Site takes a long time to load.
When viewing online, screen displays only the background (solid purple) while
the movie loads.
Then, VERY briefly, the preloader is visible.
Before you can even read the preloader, the full site loads.
This kinda' defeats the purpose of a "PREloader".
Can anybody suggest a solution or speculate on what I did wrong?

Thanks,

Okay, okay .... gimme' a break, I'm a NEWBIE!

Here's a link to the source: http://www.tommygibson.com/mysource.html

I didn't post the actionscript because I didn't write any for the preloader -
I used a prefab component that doesn't require any hand coding.

Try to make the music lower quality that would reduce the file size

I'm not worried about file size - I'm just frustrated that my preloader
doesn't work properly.

P.S. did an ANIMATE the bubbles?!

If you're asking did I animate the bubbles, yes ... I did.

Where in the movie/code it your preloader bassed + where is the code for it?

I didn't post the actionscript because I didn't actually write any - I used a
prefab component for the
preloader. Here's a link to the FLA file:
