I'm interested in creating a Flash navigation similar to this:
http://www.mylifemycard.com/mywishlist/wishlist.html

If you click on the days of the week, or the blurred product in the
background, you'll be able to turn the "wheel of products". This is the type of
thing I'm looking to do - any ideas how I can go about doing this? Does this
require a lot of ActionScript, or can I get by with doing basic AS?

Yeah, that's sort of what I figured, but I was referring to the circular motion
of the products. When you click on a day of the week, the products spin and the
product associated with that day of the week comes to the front. How do I
recreate the spinning?
