macromedia flash sitedesign : 2 flash files, 1 web page - can they talk?

I want 2 flash files to talk to each other on the same web page. I.E. a menu in
Flash and a Header in Flash, the rest of the page in HTML. I want the menu to
change the header. a 'goto frame' would work great.

Very welcome. Yeah, FSCommand was Flash 5. Starting with MX they
added localConnection.
