With a stationary camera, place your object on a turntable. Take 8
pictures. Rotate the object 45 degrees each time. Shoot against a
solid color background. Use an image editor to remove the background
and save images as PNG with transparency. Place the 8 pictures on
separate frames of the Flash timeline. Use the slider to
gotoAndStop() on one of the 8 frames. Devide the slider position by 8
to get the frame number. There is a lot of detail in all that but I
wouldn't know how much of it you can already do and which part you
would need help with.
