Ok, im new, and I want to link a flash button to a website WITHOUT using actionscript - just using the linkage tool - is there anyway?

Forgive my ignorance, but what is the 'linkage tool'??

Ah, I see. In that case the answer is simple. You can't. Check the manual on the topic of creating buttons. There's always some
actionscript involved (if only three lines), which you either put in yourself or by using the mx2004 behaviors.

Make sure the button is selected on stage and click the + on the behaviors
panel and choose "web page" (i think its web page anyway). Here it lets you
type in the URL you want and creates the AS for you
