Flash Player transparency?

macromedia flash sitedesign:
I may be missing something here but it looks to me like the image you have
is just washed out, but you have no transparency set. You need to set the
transparency of the image within Flash, AND you have to include the
WMODE=TRANSPARENT parameter in your HTML in the <OBJECT> tags. Just beware
of how buggy that setting is, it can affect other JS in the page, pop-ups,
menus and all kinds of stuff. Most people stay away from it because it is
so buggy.

There are workarounds for making a Bg "APPEAR" to be transparent. Careful
planning and layout will do the trick. I often intergrate Flash and HTML
sealmlessly, making it appear that the HTML image flow right into the Flash
work.

Anyway, HTH!

Flash Player transparency? Fall Time

I am having trouble accomplishing, using css to make the flash player
transparent on the actual HTML page.

here is the URL (excuse the sloppy background images)

http://www.triotalentagency.com/intheworks/

That is supposed to look more like the following (use IE for most compatible)

http://www.triotalentagency.com/intheworks/submit.htm

Is there a way to make the flash player transparent like the tables on that
other page? even if its not using CSS... any way at all?

Well that seemed to work great. Except when I tried it with IE on a pc (im
making this site with a G5, don't ask why) I don't understand why it doesn't
work. Maybe I have to export the swf file from a PC? I don't know.

Sorry man but the whole transparent swf thing doens't work in old versions of
IE.

To be honest though you should really be using Firefox:
http://www.getfirefox.com ;-)

Hope This Helps.
