Don't mean top butt in, but it sounds to me like Mike has not published the
file, only saved it. Mike, could you clarify that?

Hello Everyone Can some please help I am trying to edit a previous Fla file and
change a scrolling header from one domain to another but i cant find a tutorial
anywhere can some please tell me how to edit the fla so my domain will come up
instead of theres. i opened the fla file typed in my domain name and saved it
but nothing happens any help would be greatly appreciated thanks Mike

Ok I have downloaded a web theme and they have gave me permission to edit there
header that scrolls there domain its a fla file what i want to do is open the
file and edit out there domain name and insert my domain name so it does the
same type of animation to view the header that i want to edit please go to
http://passionate-paula.com/postnuke/html/index.php you will see the top header
that says www.portalthemes.com i want to edit that and place my domain in there

I think that is your problem. It sounds like you are uploading the FLA.
That is not the final product. The FLA is the file that you edit, but once
you edit it, you have to PUBLISH it, and the resulting file then has a SWF
extension. I would suggest hitting the tutorials and getting the basics
down which will allow allow you to better grasp and understand what to do
and how to do it.

i think now I got it.
but why you can't just chage the text?? you don't know how to do that?? or
what?.. because I don't understand why you can't do that and ask for a
tutorial.. if it is a fla, and you are not trying to edit the swf, then it
shouldn't be a problem.. if you want I'll help you..
