macromedia flash sitedesign : Emailing From Flash

I need to find the best way -cross platform- to allow visitors to send me
email from my Flash site.

I've used getURL in script and it works, except that even if a user doesn't
use Outlook Express, it tries to open it. To which the user may become
confused. :-)

So, can anyone help me out here?

Thank you!

well, there's a few ways to do this.

one, is as stated using the mailto:yourname@wherever.com in a link on the
page in flash.

the other is using your webservers sendmail program.
check with your host about where to point your script to use the service.
If you have a host that is not that robust, then just the hyperlink method
will have to do.
