macromedia flash sitedesign:
I created a website design in flash, and built it according to my resolution of
1024 x 768. THe client's computer is 800 x 600. I have 2 questions:

Here is the link to the site.
http://www.eqypt.net/viewer/index.php?album=Mactruque_Art

At 1024x768 and above everything is lined up right, including the caption (the
most important part) under the gallery picture.

However at 800 x 600, the gallery picture overlaps an object circle, and also
the caption is no where to be found.

Here are my 2 questions:

1. Is there a way to allow the browser to scroll the height of the swf? I
think right now it is clipping off the top AND the bottom. I'd be satisfied
with it not clipping off the top and the user just having to scroll down with
the browser if they are at 800 x 600.

2. Instead, what is an alternate method to ensure the elements don't overlap
at lower resolutions than 1024 x 768.

Seems like you've added smarts that reposition things depending on the size
available .. but not quite smart enough ;)

Maybe you should just go for a simpler design and let the browser either
show the movie at its original size (with scroll bars) or scale it to fit.
The advantage of the first is that everything then appears at the original
scale (which may be important for images if you want them to keep there
quality) .. the second is just simple.

Otherwise, fix your logic so that it DOESN'T go moving things on top of each
other when there is not enough space.
