There are several ways to "load" (or import) a video into Flash. However, it
depends what you're trying to do, and how large the video clip you want to
import is. The easiest way to import a video is to embed the video clip within
the SWF file itself. This works for smaller video clips... say something under
30 seconds. If the clip is longer than that, it will create a very large SWF
file that would be time consuming to download.

Other video options include progressively downloading the file, or , if it's
available to you, streaming the video into your Flash content using Flash
Communication Server.

Try reading the "Working with Video" chapter in Using Flash (Help > Using
Flash). That should provide you with enough working knowledge to get started
importing video into Flash.

You should also take a look at the Macromedia Flash Video section of the Flash
Developer Center:

Hope that helps.
