macromedia flash sitedesign : full flash site loads too slow

My flash web site is 24.6 MB and when exported to swf it is 5.1 MB. I have a
preloader but the screen is blank for a while before any thing comes up. I have
compressed it all I can. You can view the site here:

If you know how I can at least get rid of the white blank space before the
preloader let me know.

The site seems to load fine for me but to solve your problem put as few
items in frame 1 as possible. Flash will load everything in frame one
completely before it will display anything.

Hey April,

You don't have to get rid of anything. Just slide the key frames to frame
two instead of frame one. I'm assuming your pre-loader is only one frame.
