macromedia flash sitedesign:

I like it! There's a flash at the end I'd try to smooth out.

All things considered, it's not bad. I like the 4 colored squares blending
concept.

I think you could use some work on your timing(every can, I know the same goes
for me). Some things seem to drag out, and an appropriate pause or
semi-pause(some objects still very slowly moving) at points could be helpful.

Use easing! :)

And yes, there's a Flash at the end. Not sure what's causing that... I would
make sure you stop your movie with the stop() command before putting the getURL

Cheers

Hi I'm kind of new to Flash and web design. I am building myself a page as I
learn. I created a Flash movie that ends with starting a new web page. I wanted
the transition from movie to page to be seamless. Check it out and tell me what
I have done properly and what I can improve. Thanks for your time!

Thanks for the comments! Yes I do think easing would help the smoothness of it.
I'll play with that when I have a chance. As for the flash at the end, from
what I can tell, when I took the logo header and motion tweened it from the
center to the top right, the little computer graphic got distorted a bit. When
the page loads, that same header and graphic is more complete. Therefore, the
graphic creates a little flash when it changes from the distorted to the
complete graphic. Also, since a page is loading, I assume there will be some
hiccup in the transition depending on your connection speed and if you happen
to have the page cached. I'm not sure how I can improve that.

Thanks! I have that same problem here. Unfortunately, Cox cable blocks incoming
port 80 for resdential users so I have to forward it to another port. Anyway,
it has changes quite a bit from my original post, in fact that original link
won't work

That will get you to my site in development. Select the about button to get
