macromedia flash sitedesign: i want to create a preloader screen that starts with an outline and gradually
fills up with colour (to demonstrate the percentage) until complete.......here

how would i do this?

load yor image into a MC.

mov.loadMovie('imag.jpg');
then create a loader just for the `mov` movie.
