This has been discussed for years and the short answer is - whatever is being displayed on your
screen, no matter how it gets there, can simply be grabbed via a screenshot using the Prnt Scrn key
or any of the various screen grab utilities available.

Ok, Good afternoon... I was wonder, when I used a loadmovie for loading a file
JPG, It saves into computer (on *temp files)? I mean, I'm working with some
pics, but they are the result of many years of investigations... my clients
don't want people can stole that images by Internet... I thought flash is able
to do it... but I'm not complete sure, my question: is flash safe for
working with images?, are they going to be safe on Temp files when I load
the website?, is there a posibility for blocking the printscreen button?
Hoope you can understand my idea and you can help me
as far as I know there is no way to block screengrabs - either the Prnt Scrn key or the use of any
screen grab program like Snagit.

I know you can work with keys in your keyboard with macromedia flash, but I
don't know the number of Print Screen...
I was lookin' for images in temps which were showed in a flash movie and I
didn't find them....
But if I prees the Screen button, i can stole them
Thanx Chris for your answer, but are you sure there is not a possible way to
block the printScreen button?
You have to explain to your client that everything is copyable - cds,
television shows and movies, magazine photos, and of course, websites and
everything in them. You can't stop anybody from copying anything.
If printscreen is the issue, all you can do is branding so that your website
and/or owner's name are on the photos.
I think streamed quicktime is the hardest to screenshot - have to use a third
party software or upgrade quicktime dont you? Maybe quicktime will make client
happy if he hits screenshot and only gets black box.
Some websites make a javascript code that block the left button, and send a
message like "This website isn't copyable"...
That isn't completely true, because if you check temps, you check the images
out... but with flash you can make a movie and put into the movie your .jpg
files, then in temps is gonna be saving the flash movie, but you still have the
trouble with the Print Screen button...
(I hate it!), but no one of you knows the javascript code for blocking the
Print Screen button?
