Its actually a simple gallery. the buttons are all loaded onto one layer, lets say layer 2, then for each image you create a new SWF file for each one and load them onto another layer (layer 3). each image will have a preloader. But then for any other button on the site you need to have on (realease) {unloadmovienum(2);} on (realease) {unloadmovienum(3);} (and what ever you want the other button to do) Well this is how ive done this on that site but i only use this type of gallery when im making small galleries which dont really need to be updated.. The best ones are normally XML... id recomend searching some of them out and learnign how to use them... Hope this helps.
interesting site indeed. i can only say that the font is not really working well with the overall layout. oh. and yeah.. i've noticed that the preloader doesn't work very well. i mean.. it only loads the picture(or anything else that you use a preloader on) 'till about 70% and then the content apears. i think you have alittle bug there. but anyay, the overall feeling id ok, kinda messy , but it works ok.. for what you want it. :)
The preloaders thing isnt really a big issue right now, its just gonna be one of the fixes that coem when its finsihed. the second fonr used in the site is one chosen by the client. i gave him a selection and that was it..he wanted to be picky about that so... hes allready happy with it haha wanted to pay for it allready. but i do agree on the font used its doesnt fit in, but who am i to argue...
