I really want to know how to go about creating this type of site. I know that
it uses XML to gather the information but what would be the first steps to

Admitadly www.learnflash.com has some free tutorials but the majority of it is
pay for stuff.

Why bother when there are loads of free resources out there.

Not to mention macromedia itself, there are loads of things here, you should
atleast google "flash XML integration tutorial" before handing over ready cash!
