i have flash 8 basic and learning actionscript 2.0 for flash 8, and im
wondering before i start would it be possible to sucessfully create the pixel
advertising web site in flash 8? and any suggestions how to would be superb =]

Then why Flash, sure Flash 8 can import gif's, ooooooh! but unless you're
going to do something really cool with them like create a photo mosaic
(http://www.engadget.com/2004/10/19/how-to-make-your-own-photo-mosaics/) maybe
even base that photo mosaic on a piece of video, why bother?

jolyon_russ if this is what you call help, than thanks. You dont get coverage
for something you havent done yet, and this is now what its about. This pixel
design is something I have to do, thats why bother. So if you know how its
possible please share so others can reference besides me. Isnt this the
purpose?

its a script im trying to learn.
Example: The user picks as many 10px by 10px as they want and upload an image
to the pixels location. Then enter in their site url, title, email.
Ive gotten an actionscript book for flash 8 and i learned flash mx 2004 pro so
i have some experience.
I dont see much info relating to database which i need. Also the user doesnt
have to pick a full square or rectangle so I would like to know how to display
a photo in something that looks like so
