macromedia flash sitedesign: your code is fine.
when it doesnt work is there an error? is the code on the instance of a button? common mistake is
placing the action inside the button symbol in a frame.

cool intro - nicely done - i love the blur effect - specifically the way it curves.
but since the buttons are part of the flash movie, i cant see how it was implemented. The code
should be *on* the button instance - not *in*.
open actions - click on the button instance on the stage - now add your on (release) {.....

I recently bought a template off the internet, and I am now trying to link it
to my website. I've tried making it a button and inserting the link there, but
that didnt work. Then I tried making an action by: on (release) {
getURL("http://www.etekhnos.com/sega/home3.htm");
}
But this doesnt work for me either any help would be greatly appreciated.

No, there is no error, after uploading the file, when I click on the links (I
have two, there a "skip intro" and I want the logo a link) nothing happens. If
you got to etekhnos.com thats where my flash intro file is. Yes the code is in
the instance of a button, is it not supposed to be?

Im having the same problem i made a flash intro for my site and i made a button
and i tried the action script thing and it didnt seem to work but i think some
were i cant find i gotta change the behavor to web link. Were s the behavior
place????
And how do i make the button on or what ever were do i go to do that.
