macromedia flash sitedesign: I'm having trouble transition frames the way I desire. I have pictures in
succession separated by say 120 frames and I want the transition from picture
to picture to have a fade-in/fade-out effect and not just a quick change. Any
suggestions?

Hi there, what I would do is put each picture into a seperate layer, then using
a motion tween fade in and out the pictures using the alpha option under
properties, you will need to convert your pictures to graphic symbols first
however

To convert an image to a symbol, drag it from your library to the stage, right
click, and select "convert to symbol". The picture should have a blue
rectangle around the edge now, when highlighted. To add new layers to a scene,
simply use the timeline and there's a button there for adding new layers. Hope

Hi! thanks for your reply regarding frame transitions but I have two
questions...how to transfer a picture imagine from library into a symbol and
secondly, how to set up different layers...like what command to use to add a
layer onto another layer and so forth.
