sounds like you have masked a text field that is set to dynamic which means you need to embed the
font outlines or set field to Static - we see this issue almost everyday here - so search the forums
for more similar scenarios and solutions or post back here and let us know if this was the issue.

But it seems you have that right...?

I can only advice you to create a new flash movie, create the simplest of
mask layouts and check whether you have the basics right. If you've done
that and are sure the basic setup of your mask is correct, post more details
here, code and what you want to do with the mask, an uploaded example or
fla.

funny you mention it - i literally today just finished the final edits on an article for adobe about
Flash to Video - i cant send it to you until it has launched which will be in about 1 week - but for

Chris ! you were right . I called Tec. Sup. and they immediatly knew what the
issue was just as you said !

Man I was realy frustrated , I called them before I saw your email.

Thanks for the help !

Quick question though, do you know whe formula for using annimations created
in flash for broadcast. I have two TV shows tha I edit and would like to
incorporate some ot the annimations that I can do in flash.

I know when I watch Broadcast I see stuff all the time that has been done in
flash .
