I have noticed that if I have a decent amount of text on the stage, whether it
is in motion or not, it creates lag for anything else that is in motion. I have
tried both static and dynamic text, both causing the same issue. Is it my
computer? Or am I just missing something? Thanks in advance.

first of all Its not your computer :), every time you use large amount of text
you will face a lag in the CPU, however there is a solution to avoid the lag,
but this will cause to have a large file size.

Try to break the text apart and group every paragraph for example as a symbol,
this will solve the lag problem.
