looking at your source code....your page is trying to call "Flash/movie.swf" - the slash is an
illegal character and indicates a sub-folder - or you are truly targeting a movie in
/Flash/movie.swf of your directory but upon going to:
http://www.diepoort.com/Flash/movie.swf
there is no flash movie in that location.

Click here to see a list of your files..
http://www.diepoort.com/Flash/

Don't upload your fla files.. those are source code. Only upload the swf and the html files.

I have got a flash file (swf) on a webpage and it has got a preloader and
everything and is only 75 kb big which is not that big but it takes ages to
load even on broadband. Could someone pls give some advice?

The url is: http://www.diepoort.com/1.php

well there ya go :p
yeah - what tralfaz said - you have to publish and upload the SWF file - FLA files are only for
editing your movie. It is the native source format.

Thx for advice. I know about the fla files and only using swf's. i just
uploaded everything when I did the ftp'ing but I will remove the fla's. I have
noticed that it was my mistake cause I thought the swf file was uploaded onto
the remote server but it wasn't but it is there now so the link should work
now. T

yup - it is there now - but it loads to 85% and stops - loads quickly, just not beyond 85% for me.
