PUBLISH FLASH SITE liamfahy

macromedia flash sitedesign: Hi!

I am new to Flash and I am just finishing off my first website.

This Flash site contains many separate SWF files each of which represent a new
page (there are around 20 in all).

I need to find a tutorial or instructions of how to publish this site to the
web.

I have the entire Studio 8 so maybe I need to use Dreamweaver?

I would also like to know how to sort out a website name (domain name) for my
site which I'd like to be something like www.thebrightside.com.

PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP I'D APPRECIATE IT SO MUCH.

Thanks

Liam

Hi Liam,

Ideally, and the only way(?) to successfully build a complete Flash Web site
is to load all of your individual Flash pages in to a master swf using a movie
clip loader object. Go to www.lynda.com and check out the Flash 8 beyond the
basics and Flash 8 essential training for detailed information on how to
achieve this. You can register for a membership package and access the
extensive online library or purchase the CD ROMs seperately.

I can recommend Dreamhost as an excellent ISP. They can help you register a
domain name, such as the one you want to use, and they have great hosting
packages for users such as you. Check out www.dreamhost.com and look for the
Crazy Domain Insane package. Please mention barkingweb.com if you sign-up!
Use the code at www.barkingweb.com and you will get a discount on your hosting
package.

Good Luck
