Best Frame Rate for smooth animation on web?? forumnotifier

macromedia flash sitedesign: Hi just wondering if anyone could tell me the best framerate for a website. My
website uses an average ammount of animation and most of the buttons are
interactive. At the moment i have it set at the standard flash setting 12fps
and it looks a bit jumpy (i really want it looking sleek and smooth) I wondered
what i could increase this to without the file size becoming massive (18fps??)

Any help or advice would be wicked

Alot will depend on how complex your animation is. I've used frame
rates as high as 40fps. What I've found helps more is simulating a
motion blur.

How do you simulate a motion blur?

Thanks in advance,
