I disagree. If you are looking to be able to display your site without it
scaling and without the user having to scroll, screen resolution is vital.
It defines the maximum 'browser viewport size'. The viewable browsing area
is of course important - this is generally *less* than the screen
resolution, to allow for toolbars etc.
