Hi all,
I'm working on multiple sites for my media company while my webmaster is
taking a break. My main site was hand coded and accesses my servers using
PHP/MySQL. Question is . . . since my company's product is media - ringtones,
video, wallpapers, etc. should I consider using Flash rather than php docs. I
have very little experience with Flash. But since I'm starting out on a number
of sites, I thought if I'm going to change it would be good to do so now. All
sites are totally e-commerce with shopping carts, tours, samples, etc. I'm
looking for fast, clean, simple but elegant interfaces and as little grief and
glitches as possible. Thanks in advance.

Both

Flash whilst cool has a few issues with SEO etc... so for maximum
accessibility (including google) try a combo of both! Flash will be able to
give you the multimedia aspect that would appeal to your audience!
