With Flash 8 encoding you get really good quality at fairly low
bitrates. If you don't maintain your own server, you might want to look
into subscribing to a host that supports flv - ideally one that has
Flash Communication Server. That being said, I recommend - at least at
this point in time - to also encode the video for flash 6/7
compatibility and have the loading swf detect version. Flash 8 has a
wide install base, but 6/7 is still pretty commonplace, especially in
corporate environments where updates are not determined by the user.
A service provider I like is influxis.com - but there are numerous
others as well.
