Need to scroll pictures horizontally for website AdobeTodd

macromedia flash sitedesign: Hi all,
I'm working on a website for a photographer who wants the visitor to be able
to scroll horizonatlly through her a series of photos via a scroll bar. I've
never attempted this in Flash before. I've seen some templates for sale at
Template Monster that have a similar feature, but the template designs only
allow for small pictures.

Can someone help me or redirect me to a source to explain how I can achieve
this?

Thanks in advance.

Ok you have a couple of choices. Unless you are pressed for time. I mean need
it like yesturday. Never, Never, did I say NEVER but a template. I hate
templates. I think it's easier to make one from scratch. Any way your options
are
1. go to www.gotoandlearn.com

look in the tutorial archives for Scrolling Thumbnail Panel. Watch the video.
He takes you step by step. I really like Mr. Leebrimelow's tutorials. The
guy is knowledgable.

Your second choice. Go to flashkit.com Select Movies in the blue nav box.
Scroll to the bottom of the page Select Scripting >Scrolling. You have 12
pages of photogalleries to choose from. They give you the fla. Happy hunting!

There's several different kinds available, and the Scroll Pane Component
located in FLASH is okay and might work for you. I'm sure there are lots of
tutorials around, but try this one out and see if it helps you. Good luck...
