macromedia flash sitedesign:
O.K., I'll admit it....I'm a newbie.

Bottom line is that i've created a SIMPLE drop down menu and I can't seem to
get it "out of the box". What i mean is it is hidden inside the
dimentions of the flash movie in the html. When i make the flash size larger,
it just pushes everything further away. What I mean is when I change the width
and height in the object portion of the html it does increace the size of the
movie, yet the other items (pictures and text below it) are pushed farther down
the page.

I will say I have tried wmode and playing with the z-index with no luck. I
might be putting it in the wrong place. I'm not sure.

Let me know if anyone can help.

Thank you!!!

Hey threre...thanks for the quick reply. (I'll remind you that I'm a
newbie.....a novice....trying to learn on my own.) I just threw a page together
listed here:

http://www.areyouwithstupid.com/test_swf/test_swf.html

I guess what I'd like to know is how to get the flash to be a part of the html
and not an "image" or "box" on the page. Is it a setting when creating the
flash? The above page was my first attempt at a dropdown menu. Is it deeper
than just creating a flash element? Do I have to set up the flash with script
before publishing to cause it to be treated like a part of the page?
